Single Cup Pour Over Directions

Thank you for purchasing Five Birds Coffee Single Serve disposable pour overs!

There is approximately 15 grams of coffee in this filter.  That is a strong 5-8 ounce cup of coffee.  If that seems to strong, take some out next time, or try a bigger cup with more water. 

We want you to enjoy coffee the way you like it…  Bold and strong, or mellow and flavorful!

Step By Step:

1. Tear off strip to open filter and expose the coffee

2. Grab the bottom of the two paper flaps, opposite of the opening and gently stretch the flaps over the cup edge.  Be careful when letting go!

3. Bring water to as close to 204 degrees as you can

4. Pour hot water gently, and slowly over the coffee.  (Be careful, there may be a bloom of coffee grounds and water that will overflow the filter)

Please be careful!  The water is hot, the paper gets flimsy…  The cup gets hot and after it all…  Surprise!  The coffee’s hot, too!
